Online poker has become world acclaimed recently, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, arcs back quite a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years several variations on the earliest poker game have been developed, including some games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with vingt-et-un than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the dealer rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little bluffing or other types of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up just before the dealer declares "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the bank and of course all of the other players acquire five cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you must either make a call wager or accede. The call wager’s value is akin to your beginning bet, meaning that the risks will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your wager goes instantaneously to the bank. After the bet is the conclusion. If the house does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, including a figure in accordance with the ante. If the house has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The casino pony’s up chips equal to your wager and set odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
