Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with old origins. Based on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the east with the west in a wonderful game for new players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler versus the dealer, not like most other poker games that players wager against other gamblers. By gambling against the dealer, new players do not need to be concerned about any other, more experienced people taking their cash.
One more Pai Gow benefit is the generally leisurely game pace, novices should be able to take their time and strategize without having to make frenzied selections.
It’s also easier to gamble on for a long time with only a tiny bit of money since, to not win, both of your hands must be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt 7 cards faces showing and the casino receives seven cards faces hidden.
One five card hand and a two card hand must be put together from the seven cards, the five card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the casino’s.
