Online poker has become globally famous lately, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back quite a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years several variants on the first poker game have been created, including a few games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to 21 than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers bet against the bank instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no concealment or other kinds of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up just before the croupier announcing "No further bets." At that moment, both you and the house and of course all of the different players acquire five cards. Once you have looked at your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you need to either make a call wager or accede. The call bet’s amount is akin to your original bet, meaning that the risks will have doubled. Bowing out means that your ante goes immediately to the house. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, including a figure in accordance with the original bet. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The dealer pays money even with your original bet and fixed expectations on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
